01A task reminder and an appointment confirmation do different jobs
One prompts an action at home; the other confirms a place in the clinic’s schedule. Treating them as the same workflow can leave owners with contradictory dates or repeated messages.
02Map the reminders before turning them on
Create a simple list of triggers and the system responsible.
- Keep appointment times and booking changes under the agreed scheduling system.
- Match care-task reminders to the approved plan and the owner’s supported notification settings.
- Assign a team action when a required update is missing; do not rely on another reminder alone.
03Demonstrate a changed plan
Ask how reminders follow the current approved plan and what the owner sees. Test a sample task through completion and a revised schedule. The pilot should reveal confusing duplication and missed follow-up, not assume that a sent notification was read.
